Jimmy brings a bit of Cuban Flair, Mexican toughness, Phillipino grit having trained in all corners of the Globe, this combined with that Yorkshire pedigree makes for a truly unique experience.

I have now gained over 15 years experience in Boxing from starting in the amateurs aged 29, first walked into a boxing gym aged 27 … having a decent amateur career winning Yorkshire titles & winning regional championships, reaching the nationals. Turning professional aged 36, had 18 pro fights, won 15. Boxing on Sky sports twice, winning on Sky beating their unbeaten favourite & winning the central area title & boxing for the English, headlined numerous events, now working with some top professionals on the other side of the ropes as a trainer & Cornerman. I have Held my professional trainers licence for the past 3 years.
Martin Golding-Smith
After a 20 year rugby career and a spell at coaching, I first entered a boxing club aged 30! Sport, health and fitness had always played a huge part in my life but boxing exposed me to a whole new level of fitness and self-discipline. After a few sessions, I quickly realised my strength and passion was for developing and coaching aspiring boxers with my innovative pad work and coaching techniques. I have now completed my level 1 ABA Coaching Award and completed some training at the Hatton Academy, where I was given coaching tips and advice from the Hitman himself. Over the years I have had the chance to work with numerous sports teams and individual boxers, but my favourite being my high school friend Jimmy ‘the fist’ First!
